God's Word has made many promises to His children. One of the most comforting and encouraging promises is the return of His son, Christ Jesus, to gather the saints to eternal life. I Thessalonians, as well as many other verses, tell us that Christ will return with great power in the clouds and gather God's elect. It is this glory that we keep our eyes and minds towards as we struggle and suffer through the world's troubles.
